Temperature: the missing ingredient
Most sourdough recipes do not consider temperature for determining when the proofing is done. Eyeballing how much the dough is risen, and trial and error are how most bakers determine when the dough is ready, but this so often leads to frustratingly inconsistent results.
A simple solution
We’ve set out to design a simple dough bucket with easy to read demarcations based on volume rise and temperature. Whether going for a low and slow complex flavor, or a faster rise, the goal is to aid bakers in their quest for delicious and consistent sourdough.
